Be A Blessing

The Gentlemans Oven Be A Blessing program is our way of giving back and impacting our community, through food. This effort was born out of something that has been part of my heart, strongly impacted by my family and especially by two of my most favorite souls that left this earth too soon, my Sister and my Cousin.

My Family are the people who will not let you leave their house hungry, or without eating. While it's something we always joke about, there is a real impact by showing love and care through feeding someone. This is just something my family carries in our soul, instilled by my Grandmothers. I remember traveling with my Dad and Sister, when Sis spotted a homeless man next to us as we were entering the highway. She insisted that we pull over so she could give him half of her taco meal that we just purchased. Additionally, in my early teenage years, my Cousin and I got involved with a program where we would go Downtown and feed the homeless. These are impacts that will live in my heart forever. Be A Blessing is a way for us to carry this love for others and our community forward.

The Gentlemans Oven will select one local food related non-profit every 6 months. For each 6 month period, a portion of every sale during that timeframe will be collected and donated to that organization at the end of the period. As we grow, the impact that we can make will grow. What a sweet way to treat yourself and impact our community...and yes, pun intended.
